Blackmores Colon Care is a pleasant tasting mild laxative, prepared with fibre and herbs proven to gently assist cleansing of the bowel and functioning of the colon. 

Colon Care promotes elimination and rids the body of waste.

To improve bowel function we recommend that plenty of water and fibre be included in the diet.

The laxative herbs in this formula (Senna and Buckthorn) contain anthraquinone glycosides which stimulate peristalsis of the bowel wall stimulating evacuation, (normally around 8 hours after intake). Psyllium, Irish Moss and Agar are sources of soluble and insoluble fibres to facilitate natural bowel movements.
Aniseed and Liquorice root are carminative herbs that are helpful to relieve the discomfort associated with constipation and to prevent the griping pain that is often associated with laxative use. Irish moss and Agar are demulcents which soothe inflamed gastric mucosa.

Warnings

Not recommended for children under 12 years. Prolonged use of laxatives may cause serious bowel problems. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present, or if you develop diarrhoea. If digestive symptoms persist, see your healthcare practitioner. 

Do not use during pregnancy or breast feeding.
