Echinacea Forte 3000 relieves the symptoms and reduces the duration of colds and mild infections of the respiratory tract. Blackmores Echinacea Forte 3000 has been developed to replicate the recognised therapeutic dose of Echinace purpurea as published in the German Commission E Monograph 1989. The recognised therapeutic dose for Echinacea purpurea fresh plant juice is 6-9mL per day.

Echinacea has been extensively investigated and is known to have a variety of actions on the immune system, including elevation of serum white blood cell count (when numbers are low), promotion of non-specific T-cell activation, enhancement of macrophage activity, as well as having antibacterial and antiviral properties. 
This high dose product provides a therapeutic dose that is indicated for the relief of symptoms of infections, particularly those of the upper respiratory tract such as colds and flu.

Active Ingredient per tablet: Echinacea purpurea juice dry 66.7mg equiv. to fresh herb 3g (3000mg), (standardised to contain beta-1, 2-D-oligofructofuranosides 1.6mg).
